Oltre la linea, come approccio progettuale che supera la frontiera della comfort zone, dell’armonia già raggiunta, delle contaminazioni materiche già apprezzate, delle combinazioni già testate, per mettersi alla prova, rinnovarsi, crescere, per creare esperienze che generano una rottura nell’immaginario condiviso, dando sostanza a un nuovo equilibrio tra design, arte e circolarità.

Oltre la linea, quella regolare, geometrica, ripetuta delle forme che si rincorrono e si completano quella delle trame, tessute a mano con rigore e costanza.

ACROSS THE LINE // OLTRE LA LINEA è il progetto espositivo che nasce dalla sintonia alchemica tra Chendù [ˈkænˈdu], studio di design e brand di arredi e complementi di alto artigianato, il suo designer Ernesto Cesario, I’azienda di compound Fainplast e la lungimiranza di Roberta Faraotti, sua responsabile relazioni esterne e welfare, e dalla sfida che si è deciso di affrontare insieme. Il micro si misura con il macro, la creatività con l’industria, l’innovazione si fa largo e la prospettiva cambia I’orizzonte.

Territorio- il Piceno – creatività, sostenibilità, tecnologia, alto artigianato, talenti e visioni si incontrano in un luogo dedicato, raccolto, essenziale, dove immergersi nella sperimentazione, nella matericità, un allestimento che mette in connessione due collezioni tra arte e design, immaginate dalla combinazione insolita tra materialì senza tempo – marmo, ferro, travertino – e pvc in un’operazione di upcycling, progettazione e sapiente manualità e conoscenza: Oru e Mimì.

È la sostenibilità ad alimentare la ratio del progetto, attraverso la manipolazione di un materiale di scarto del PVC – 100% riciclabile – un “sottoprodotto” di prova del materiale plastico per testarne le performance qualitative, che entra in connessione con materiali eterni, preziosi – anch’essi in parte dì recupero – e si fa arte, si fa decoro, si fa arredo e viene reso infinito come ogni pezzo da collezione che trova il suo posto nel mondo.

ORU Collection
Oru, in giapponese “intreccio”. Nella versione Essential, ferro e pvc si incontrano, si innamorano e nasce una famiglia dì elementi decorativi da parete. Quattro forme, inesauribili combinazioni, creano dialoghi, movimenti e suggestioni che, con eleganza delle geometrie e pulizia delle linee, vestono gli ambienti con estro, coniugando innovazione, sostenibilità, semplicità, ricercatezza in un progetto tra artigianalità e upcycling, tra arte e design. Nella versione Luxury l’essenziale si apre al lusso. Al ferro e al pvc si unisce il marmo. L’eterno e l’effimero diventano una cosa sola. Cambia la percezione del pvc, il marmo lo accoglie con curiosità ed entusiasmo, il ferro li tiene insieme.

MIMì Collection
Un atto rivoluzionario, un omaggio al territorio piceno, dove insistono sia Chendù sia Fainplast, e alle mentì che vedono lontano, al presente che guarda il futuro e ne modifica la prospettiva. Due tavoli – MIMÌ dining e MIMÌ coffee – un unico concept che dà vita a due opere d’arte, microarchitetture disruptive, forti, inaspettate, che riempiono, richiamano lo sguardo, incantano. Il travertino con lavorazioni antiche svetta in geometrie di pieni e vuoti, il vetro abbraccia la trama in pvc incorporato un filo alla volta, il ferro stabilizza i volumi, in un progetto out of the box dove il micro incontra il macro, la minuzia l’imponenza, i dettagli l’intero, il lusso l’upcycling.

Across the line, as a design approach that crosses the frontier of the comfort zone, of harmony already achieved, of material contaminations already appreciated, of combinations already tested, in order to challenge, renew, grow, to create experiences that generate a rupture in the shared imagination, giving substance to a new balance between design, art, and circularity.

Across the line, the regular, geometric, repeated one of the forms that chase each other and complete each other, that of the textures, hand-woven with rigor and constancy.

ACROSS THE LINE / / OLTRE LA LINEA is the exhibition project that was born from the alchemical syntony between Chendù, a design studio and brand of high craftsmanship furniture and complements, its designer Ernesto Cesario, the company Fainplast Compounds which produces plastics in granular and the foresight of Roberta Faraotti, its external relations and welfare manager, and the challenge they decided to face together. The micro is measured against the macro, creativity is measured against industry, innovation is taking hold and perspective is changing the horizon.

Territory – Piceno -, creativity, sustainability, technology, high craftsmanship, talents and visions come together in a dedicated, intimate, essential place where to immerse oneself in experimentation, in matter, a setting that connects two collections between art and design, imagined by the unusual combination of timeless materials – marble, travertine, iron – and pvc, in an operation of upcycling, design, skilled craftsmanship and knowledge: Oru and Mimì.

It is sustainability that fuels the rational of the project, through the manipulation of a PVC waste material – 100 percent recyclable – a “by-product” of testing the plastic material to test its qualitative performance, which comes into connection with eternal, precious materials – also partly recovered – and becomes art, decoration, furniture and is made as infinite as any collectible piece that finds its place in the world.

ORU Collection
Oru, Japanese for “weave.” In the Essential version, iron and pvc meet, fall in love and a family of decorative wall elements is born. Four shapes, inexhaustible combinations, create dialogues movements and suggestions that with elegance of geometries and clean lines dress the rooms with flair, combining experimentation, sustainability, simplicity, refinement in a project between craftsmanship and upcycling, between art and design. In the Luxury version, the essential opens up to luxury. Iron and pvc are joined by marble. The eternal and the ephemeral become one. The perception of pvc changes, marble welcomes it with curiosity and enthusiasm, iron holds them together.

MIMÌ Collection 
A revolutionary act, a tribute to the Piceno territory, where both Chendù and Fainplast insist, and to the minds that see far, to the present that looks at the future and changes its perspective. Two tables – MIMÌ dining and MIMÌ coffee – a single concept that gives life to two artworks, disruptive, strong, surprising microarchitectures that fill the space, draw the eye, enchant. Travertine with ancient workmanship soars in geometries of solids and voids, glass embraces the embedded pvc weave one thread at a time, iron stabilizes the volumes, in an out of the box project where micro meets macro, minuteness meets grandeur, details the whole, luxury the upcycling.
